Overview

Little Lambs Preschool is an Early Childhood Center and ministry of Christ Lutheran Church. Our activities are Christ-centered and teach about God’s love for all people. The program uses a variety of creative activities to help children develop cognitively, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. 

History

Little Lambs was established in the fall of 1994 to aid parents in the community with the educational and spiritual development of their children. Morning and afternoon sessions were offered 3 days a week for 2.5 hours for ages 3 to 5. In order to meet the needs in our community for children wearing diapers Little Lambs expanded to full-time child care and Preschool serving 1 year through 10 years in 2017. 

Mission Statement

Little Lambs is dedicated to helping parents with enrichment activities for early childhood development. We are committed to providing a safe learning environment that enables children to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. Our goals are accomplished by using a variety of teaching methods and varied activities; including, but not limited to chapel lessons, music, art, independent and whole-group activities, etc.

Faith Statement

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell.

The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Licensing

Little Lambs is licensed by the State of Nevada, Southern Nevada Health District, State Fire Marshall, and the City of Boulder City. We follow the established rules and regulations for maintaining a safe learning environment.

Hours

Monday through Friday 7 am-6 pm with early drop off upon request.
